The Internet is abuzz with this image of Tom Hardy as Bane stemming from “The Dark Knight Rises'” viral campaign. What are your thoughts?

It’s been confirmed that the always-busy and always-charming James Franco will star in author Stephen Elliot’s indie film “Cherry,” with Dev Patel, Heather Graham and Lili Taylor in negotiations to star, according to Variety.

According to Variety, the film follows “a troubled 18-year-old (Graham) who moves to San Francisco, where she enters the porn industry and becomes involved with a cocaine-addicted lawyer, to be played by Franco.”

Elliot is quite possibly best-known for writing “The Adderall Diaries,” which was optioned by Franco earlier in the year.

Production is scheduled to begin next month.

In other news, Deadline reported yesterday that the release date for Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” has been moved up from Friday, July 1, to Wednesday, June 29. Prediction: It will make a ton of money either way.

Also, Collider posted new images from “The Hunger Games,” “21 Jump Street” and Black Bird. Go ahead and check them out if you haven’t already.

    I find it quite funny that 41 year old Heather Graham is negotiations to play an 18 year old. “Cherry” sounds horrible.
